Way back in 1975, the Sail Loft lit the fire for Steve Silverstein, who went on to open nearly 40 restaurants. Located in the quintessential seaside village of Padanaram, it was the neighborhood place where you could get a good (strong) drink, chef prepared comfort food and relax in a convivial atmosphere with familiar faces. The Sail Loft was everyone’s favorite place; it was a hangout where some came for food and others for drink.When the Sail Loft became available in 2021, Steve jumped on the opportunity to take the wheel. Steve and his wife Judy transformed the Sail Loft into an elevated neighborhood restaurant with a distinct updated boatyard feel. The spot is nautical with a chef-driven yet approachable menu, a deep selection of spirts and an intriguing wine list.     We had a very pleasant visit Wednesday. Food was great I had meatloaf my wife had Korean beef noodle dish. Jamie is an excellent server, very friendly she made us feel welcome and not rushed. She was very accommodating and packed our dessert to go

    We were a party of four and all chose seafood dishes. Everyone was extremely happy with their choice - especially the one that had it adjusted due to allergies. Great wine selection by the glass as well as bottles allowing everyone to get their preference instead of having to share. Another plus is the carrot cake that - amazingly - has pecans instead of walnuts in it (allergies again) and was delicious! Please note that the noise rating is for an inside table.
