Restaurants near Cairngorm Mountain

We had an absolutely fantastic team night out last night in Cafe 1. Everything was completely perfect. We ate from the 'Early Bird Menu' which represented incredible value for money. One of our party has coeliac and she was expertly catered for. Thank you very very much to Norman and team for perfect hospitality as always.

Nice music. Busy place. Typical Scottish menu. Would love to see some salads in Scotland.

Booked a late dinner that day after arriving in aviemore. Lovely restaurant. Very nicely laid out with good lighting. Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Such a relaxed and friendly place. Good value too. Would recommend highly.

The restaurant was a 10 minute walk from the centre of town, but definitely worth it. We had a choice of eating in the dining room or in the bar, it was the same menu. There was a family atmosphere in the bar with young children wandering about. The dining room was spacious, a lovely gas fire created a warm, relaxed atmosphere. No background music made conversation easy. Starters were beautifully presented and delicious. Main courses were substantial and delicious. I don't know what coffee they served, but it's the best I've tasted for a while. Having considered most of the menus in town I don't think there's much to choose between them as far as prices are concerned. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Good food. Friendly and attentive waiters. Very accommodating chef (he modified a dish for us).
