This is my husband’s favorite local restaurant and we took him out for his birthday. It was a great experience as always. His go-to meal is the blackened sea bass and mine is the catfish. The only thing we’re always missing is a fish-dish on the kids menue (fried fish maybe). The staff is on point and the ambience as well. Nothing fancy but great restaurant.

Great meal. All three of us had the steak, Cooked perfectly at medium rare. I also ordered the wedge salad which was very tasty. The wine selection was nice and not overpriced. The wait staff was friendly. Great restaurant.

Excellent experience. We arrived a bit early and the restaurant offered us a cocktail at the bar. We got our table as requested. The waiter was very attentive and explained the menu in detail and answered all of our questions. The food was excellent and tasty. The view was outstanding. Definitely recommend to anyone this place. The location is not what is expected but the experience will last a lifetime.

We love to come to the Retreat when we are staying at our lake house. It is more upscale than the other options on lake Wateree. The food is always good and we enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommend!!
