French onion soup is as amazing. Caesar salad was good. The prime rib was perfectly cooked. Guest had the burger which was huge and made in house. Home made ice cream dark chocolate and butter pecan were exceptional. View of the lake is amazing and the service was good.

We both ordered the sesame encrusted tuna special which was excellent.

We were so pleasantly surprised on how spectacular the hotel, view and 1909 was. Absolutely beautiful! The service was very old school elegance from the cocktails to the dinner. We could not have picked a more wonderful restaurant to celebrate my son’s college graduation.

We love it there and we will keep on coming back. We are bringing our friends for them to experience the otesaga hotel

We really enjoyed our meals at Canal Side Inn. The food was excellent! Could not have been better. From interesting and fresh soup and salad choices, to well prepared and presented main courses and desserts, everything was great. The atmosphere is like taking a step back in time, with wood paneling and even a full phone booth outside the bar area. The music, tunes I remembered hearing at my grandparent's house, complemented the environment nicely. Tables were beautifully set and the service pleasant and attentive. The only thing that was a slight negative, and due to the age and location of the space, was a musty smell initially upon entering. A little bit like a grandparent's house, too! :) In no way did that impact the overall experience for us, and we will definitely be back.
