Excellent food and service in a relaxed atmosphere. English menu is available and staff are very friendly to communicate in English and my broken Japanese. Food is excellent, certainly the best yakitori I have ever had. Highlights were the sansho yaki (pepper teriyaki chicken thigh), gizzard skewer, cartilage skewer, chicken oyako don. Service was fast. Price is commensurate with quality of the food. Noise level is just right- not so quiet to be stuffy and formal, but not so loud you have to yell to communicate. Met some friendly locals sitting next to us and we bought each other drinks, including a sake the owner made.

We had a very special birthday meal at Sezanne! The communication beforehand, service and ambience were all outstanding, and everything added up to one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. We went at lunchtime and had the menu Sezanne and wine pairing - the food was inventive, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked and the wine pairings complemented perfectly (the dessert wine in particular!). We loved the generosity with the sauces, each one was to die for and providing a little extra sauce on the side to dip a spoon into was a really nice touch. Fantastic experience, thank you so much!
