I originally thought I was ready to retire after 25+ years in the restaurant industry. It turns out that the more time I spent away from the kitchen, the more I realized how much I missed cooking and sharing good food with my community. Bata is a restaurant designed to celebrate the best our region has to offer. We cook over a live oak fire, on our custom fabricated hearth. Our menu changes daily. We mill AZ grown grain in house, daily. We focus on whole animal butchery, done in house. We have an extensive fermentation program. Our bar program largely focuses on wines that are organic, biodynamic, and produced with minimal intervention. The cocktail list highlights the best products of the season, with a carefully curated list of spirits from across the globe. We believe that our hospitality is just as important as the food and beverages we put on the table. We do not encourage our restaurant for young children. We do not have any highchairs in house and ask that you please bring your own if it is required. We do not offer any outdoor seating.     We had an excellent meal at Perche’ No last night. We shared a delicious Burrata, my wife then enjoyed her salad, and I had the pleasure of eating their Short Rib Tortellacci which tasted amazing and was beautifully presented. Highly recommend

    Surprisingly quiet for Halloween dinner before a show. Service was quick and efficient. Fennel sausage pizza and the pepperoni were both fantastic. Thick enough to enjoy without filling up on dough. And a trip to Reilly's should include a jaunt downstairs to the Tough Luck Club. We'll be back.

    Celebrated our anniversary and the staff was kind and considerate. The food was delicious. We had the Wednesday Wellington that was cooked to perfection. It is truly a celebration location.

    Great Tequila selection, something like 60 different brand/types. I was a little disappointed that there were not more non-enchilada/taco/burrito selections. I ordered the Carne Asada which is supposed to be, and is described as, thin-sliced steak; it was about 1.5 inches thick. My wife's beef fajitas had large chunks of steak that were too large to be wrapped in a tortilla so she ate it as a regular dish.
