We currently offer in-house dining Tuesday through Sunday from 4:30-10:00pm (last dinner seating is at 9:30). Takeout is no longer available at this time. Patio dining is available Memorial Day weekend through September and always subject to weather. Please call us directly to reserve a patio table, but keep in mind that of the six 4-tops available outside, three are kept for walk-ins only.Our restaurant features Paolo Laboa, international chef from Genova, Italy. His menu consists of simple, flavorful and authentic Northern Italian cuisine. This includes handmade pasta, crudo (raw fish), fresh pizza and an all-Italian wine list. We LOVED our dinner and total experience at David's in Portland! The atmosphere was great. We got a small/cozy table by the window overlooking the street AND the chefs at work in the kitchen. Our meals - open face lobster and mushroom ravioli and meatloaf - were incredible. We all agreed that it was the best dinner of our entire Maine trip. Thank you!

I chose this restaurant because the picture of the space was so inviting. The actual experience and food was absolutely wonderful. The food presentation was nicely done and it was delicious. My favorite was the baby corn! Our server, Victoria, was the most delightful, pleasant and thoughtful person. Her welcoming demeanor was exceptional. The other staff were so pleasant and spot on that you wouldn’t know that this restaurant has only been open for seven weeks. It’s obvious that the owners truly care about the experience. Well done.
