- NNikkiNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe come once a year while on holiday in the area, always have the same now as best 3 things on the menu in my opinion, cheese souffle to start, confit of duck for main and chocolate fondant for desert. Only exception is if there is calves liver as a special, then my partner has that. Great service, nice atmosphere.More infoBouchon Bistrot - HexhamPrice: Expensive• French• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.9
- JJaneNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI attended a cookery course. It was fabulous. Great ingredients, fantastic tutor who guided us through the night giving so many useful ideas. The room and facilities were perfect and it was great meeting other people. We got to eat the delicious food at the end of the session. Over all one of the best nights out I’ve had. Thanks Black friers 👍More infoBlackfriars RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.6

- MMARTINNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoVisited last weekend for our third time eating here. The food is fantastic - full of flavour and excellent quality. Service is attentive without being overbearing - nicely balanced. The tables might be a little small if you are having lots of dishes, but with a bit of rearranging, it's never been too much of a problem for us. The wine is excellent, and I would particularly recommend the coffee, which I understand is sourced from a local supplier in Newcastle. If you're going, don't miss the in-house deli and market!More infoThe French QuarterPrice: Expensive• French• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8
