Umi Sake House is a unique Japanese cuisine restaurant in the Belltown area of Seattle featuring the highest quality seafood available in the Northwest, a large izakaya-style tapas menu, and boasting a sake list of over 60 imported Japanese bottles.     This place is famous for a reason. Staff is super welcoming and professional. The ambiance is romantic and clean. Food is delicious and all around a wonderful experience. We got the Caesar salad, Lamb Shank, Lasagna, and hazelnut bookie cake. All were fantastic and a great experience. Definitely worth the price tag in one of Seattle’s most popular restaurants.

    Dinner was fantastic. I had the filet with crawfish and tasso- absolutely full of flavor and perfect in every way. Aug you like a little spicy Creole this will not disappoint. Gumbo? Off the charts. Short ribs? Some of the best ever. Wish they had some beer on draft but that’s being nit picky. Was there the night of hockey game so place was busy. Definitely moved to one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle.

    Dinner was excellent and generous. The noise level was minimal so that we could hear each other speak, and the staff was kind and friendly. A lovely place to go to again and again for special occasions or just a treat.
