A6:30 dinner on a rather slow Thursday night in early September. Sat at window inside rather than endure the large number of outdoor seating smokers (whatever they were smoking). Watched the street life while enjoying drinks and appetizers. Followed on with a chicken dish (her) and my bowl of mussels & frites (me). I was so happy with the large serving size of very fresh mussels prepared with a chop of celery, carrot, onion in a bit more of natural broth. So good! Service was present but not overly attentive. It’s not a big place, just off a busy road.

Good food and drinks are to be found at this nice staple of beautiful downtown Amsterdam, in The Netherlands. Good central location, good steaks among other items are as well offered here .
