Open since October of 1990, The Dakota has been a pioneer in the culinary industry on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain.     It’s nice to have a slightly different flare. I sometimes get tired of the other places so I wanted to try something different and we all really enjoyed it. Even my husband really liked it and he’s difficult to please.

    Mackenzie was our server and she recommended the mushroom soup as a first course and I was excellent. Second course was the steak with Fritz and the dessert was a double chocolate mouse. All excellent.
