- DDianeGoldPhiladelphia County •131 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOur server, Michelle, was excellent. The food outstanding. The bread was soooo good. We started with a Caesar and chopped salad. Both very flavorful. We had salmon and filet. I think that filet was cooked so perfect. Medium rare. Cut like butter. My husbands salmon was cooked nicely but it really needed some type of sauce. Desserts (cheesecake and carrot cake) excellent. Highly recommend!More info1796$$$$• Steakhouse• Bedford•4.7

- VValeriePhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 26, 2026Great addition to the dining scene in historic Cumberland, Md. The restaurant is lovely, with comfortable banquettes and chairs, and a vaguely nautical mural along one wall. Service was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. My cocktail—a gin and tonic—was excellent. Locally brewed beers were on tap. The smaller filet portion (choice of 4 oz or 8 oz) was perfect for me as I didn’t want to wrangle leftovers. My meal also included a baby greens salad with an herby vinaigrette and a well-cooked (not gummy nor underbaked) baked potato, served with a small ramekin of a fresh herb-infused butter. A limoncello crème brûlée supplied a light but satisfying end. My husband enjoyed a Thai chicken wrap and subbed fresh green beans for the fries. I often find green beans at restaurants to be annoyingly undercooked, but these were handled deftly, being cooked with just a hint of a snap. Overall, an excellent meal!More info1867 A Modern Chophouse$$$$• Steakhouse• Keyser•4.5
