Restaurants near Dutch Coastal Defense Museum

Again an excellent experience at Ferilli's, my favorite Italian restaurant in Amsterdam. This time we shared a few starters, the famous Jacob salad and tuna tartare, and afterwards the amazing branzino, sea bass with tomatoes and cappers. Last but not least the Super Tuscan Tignanello went very well with the food. But at Ferilli's it is not only about the food. It is 'Little Italy" in Amsterdam, with a substantial part of the staff being Italian. Mr Carlo Ferilli was not around this time unfortunately (he is almost always at the restaurant, but the man deserves a day off I think) , but the very friendly manager, Silvia once again took care of a very warm experience. She even made the scroppino personally for us! See you soon, arrivederci !

My first time here and was very impressed. Staff were brilliant, couldn't fault them and even sang happy birthday to my friend. Food was delicious and full of flavour. Would 100% recommend 👌

DenC was my choice for my wife’s birthday and EVERYTHING was perfect. Delicious meal, wines with all courses, amuse bouches and petit fours. Emma Lou at front of house was welcoming and smiling throughout. Chef Produced fabulous flavours. We will definitely recommend this restaurant in a lovely part of Amsterdam with easy access by public transport
