Restaurants near Eden Valley Museum

A quite outstanding meal. Grilled squid followed by a delicious ribeye steak and the best Irish coffee I've had in years. An excellent wine list and delightful service. A thoroughly enjoyable evening; we'll be going back very soon.

I love the ambience and decor of the Ivy in Tunbridge Wells and have been several times. It wraps you up as soon as you walk in the door. This time I ordered the truffle and mushroom linguine and wish I hadn't. The linguine was overcooked and I could not taste truffle at all. It was more like linguine in a mushroom soup. My friend had a stilton salad which he loved so it wasn't all bad. We didn't get asked if we wanted dessert despite being at the table for about 40 minutes post mains, even though it wasn't busy as it was afternoon. I would usually have the shepherds pie which is always delicious but expected other things on the menu to be as good. So.. not the best visit but maybe an off day.

Cute pub with plenty of homemade classics and new dishes to try - would highly recommend!
