- MMaryWashington, D.C. Area •10 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoIt was a wonderful dining experience. Our main courses – – rack of lamb and halibut – – were outstanding. The main dining room provides a beautiful historic atmosphere. And the service was flawless. We chose the 1789 to celebrate our 54th wedding anniversary. Since our wedding in 1972, we have chosen the 1789 as the location for our anniversary celebration almost every time we have lived in the DC area. We never regret it.More info1789 Restaurant$$$$• American• Georgetown•4.9
