Abruzzo Italian Kitchen opened in December 2017. As is the Italian tradition, our focus is on the quality of our ingredients and simplicity of preparation. We cook by hand, from scratch, including all of our fresh pastas and wood fired pizzas.     Another great meal! We had the Korean ribs to start (perfect for two to share) and then shared the delicious duck. For dessert we had a different starter, the Foie Gras Pie with huckleberry jam, paired with a Woodford Old Fashioned. Details Cabernet Sauvignon by the glass is well priced and delicious. Perfect service.

    The freshest halibut ever, prepared without all the unnecessary sauces. Farm to table without any Cisco products, a true flavor bomb experience. Looking forward to also trying the fig and prosciutto oven, thin crust brick oven.

    My wife and I had dinner here during our stay at Lizard Creek Lodge. The dinner was a great experience with fantastic views and ambience, well crafted drinks and delicious Chicken Parmesan main course. The only ‘negative’ was that we were given menus from which we decided what to order and then a waitress appeared removed those from the table and replaced them with *new* menus that had significant price increases ($7 per dish for our selection). This was done without any communication or explanation and did leave a bad taste in our mouths (so to speak). This is not how customers ought to be treated. Honestly if a mistake had been made, the restaurant ought to have valued the relationship with the customer above trying to get more money from them after a decision had been made based on the original menu provided.
