The service was first rate, and the food was excellent. I had the Steak Oscar, ordered it rare, and it actually was delivered rare, which is virtually unheard of these days. It tasted divine. Two of our party had halibut, which was delicious, with nice meat and a nice bit of crisp finish. Another had the veal chop, which was juicy and quite flavorful. We had Oysters Rockefeller and classic rumaki for appetizers, which were both great. These may have been the best Oysters Rockefeller we have ever had. The wine-by-the-glass selection is small but high quality. The craft cocktails were great. We had the chocolate torte dessert, which was excellent. The chef presented what he had as my wife accepted the meal as is. The chef then brought out a MR ribeye for her (now she had two meals) and he took both off our check. They also stopped by many times to inquire how our meal was. Our water glasses were constantly kept full. One of our guests needed a GF choices and when making the online reservation, I included this information in the text box. When seated, the waitstaff actually asked if someone wanted a GF menu. I was so impressed someone actually read my online messsge!! When one of our credit cards did not work for payment, she was very kind and again patient to try another card. The second card worked. The servings were large and delicious. The second time we went with another couple. The women both have a tuna pokey bowl. One guy had a Cuban sandwich and the other one, the blackened mani-mahi. All were excellent, although the tuna poke bowl could’ve had a little bit more sauce on the rice. There was a very loud family next to us, so it was a little hard to talk.
