Lake Avenue Restaurant & Bar in Duluth, Minnesota has been around since 1991, back when Canal Park was better known as an industrial harbor rather than a tourist location. The interior at Lake Avenue Restaurant & Bar has a cozy feel to it, thanks in large part to the reclaimed lumber used for the tables, booths and bar as well as thriving plants. When the weather is nice, you can dine on our deck, furnished with Loll patio furniture made locally. We are a small restaurant, limited to 15 tables and 70 seats indoors. Because of this we are not able to accommodate groups larger than 8 people. If your party is larger than 8 people, please understand that your group may be split at separate tables, potentially not near each other. Please call us to discuss accommodating your large group events.Due to the invariability of Duluth weather, our deck is non-reservable (with or without dogs) and subject to be closed without much notice. We seat the patio on a first-come, first-serve basis.

    It was our first time, and we had a great experience. The view of the lake is beautiful. We were seated right away. After drinks were served, a wire basket filled with popovers and whipped honey butter appeared. They were hot and delicious; a nice touch. The service was great, and everyone loved what they ordered. There was also a THC drink on the menu which was a pleasant surprise. We'd all return. Highly recommend!

    Amazing service-very informative about the menu and suggestions. The food was delicious. Had the steak salad which was so flavorable, Mac and cheese was comfort food for sure and bread pudding was to die for. You can’t go wrong with this place. It is one of our favorite stops to celebrate a special birthday.

    Service was very good. We enjoyed our beverages and Lobsterergot very much. I had the Walleye Milanese which was superb ! Crisp crust and tender flaky walleye was a delight. Only downside was it was chilly in the restaurant. Very cold outside which certainly was a factor. We will return when we visit Duluth ( my hometown) again down the road…👌

    We were at the 301 for the Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was excellent. Our server, Ethan was wonderful. The food was very good. The manager, Dennis does a great job.
