The Hop Vine formerly the ‘Royal Hotel’ was built in 1874 and was the main stopping off point for goods being transported to and from the old Turnpike road the A59. The Royal as it was known has served the community and travellers alike. To the rear of the building in our historic Cobbled Garden you will find our own brewery housed in the stables which were used for the horses and stage coaches as they passed through the village.     First visit. Came with 2 friends for lunch. Place itself is amazing. Beautifully decorated. Couldn't fault food. And our server Karl was outstanding. We even had a chocolate delivered to table with candle in for friends 70th birthday. Couldn't fault anything.

    Lost count of how many times we've visited Liverpool Hawksmoor. As always it was a top class experience. Fantastic service, delicious food and exceptional value - we were there for lunch and chose from the set lunch menu. It's just a really lovely place and we would highly recommend visiting.

    We had the sharing platter and the veggie Sunday lunch. Both were absolutely amazing, lots of really fresh and well cooked veggies. My husband and son loved the meat and my nut roast was delicious. Great service and nice relaxed atmosphere.

    Food was good and came out quickly, Joe was helpful with reccomendations for beer, cask was good just wish there was a little more range but they said that's getting bigger soon. Overall great evening and would 100% reccomend!
