Great food but totally great service by Anthony. He was friendly and gave us awesome service. We will totally be returning and asking for his area. He is a great asset to this restaurant. His service made our visit totally enjoyable.

Such a beautiful setting to enjoy an afternoon tea! We booked Tea at The Empress after reading many reviews recommending this stop as a Must-do while visiting Victoria. We came in for the day on a Princess cruise ship. I booked our time a couple weeks ahead and had plenty of time to get to the hotel from the cruise port. The tea room is beautiful and the tea was the best we have ever had. The tea sandwiches and desserts were beautiful and delicious, a whole meal in itself. 10/10 recommend for this experience! Thank you to Guy and staff for taking care of us!

We dined at 13 Moons for my husband’s birthday, and everything about the experience was excellent. The food, service, and ambiance all exceeded our expectations. The portions were incredibly generous, and you can truly tell the chef cares about quality and presentation. We wanted to thank him personally but he was very occupied. I ordered the salmon and lobster combo, and my husband had the ribeye steak, both were absolutely delicious and so large we could barely finish them. The staff made the evening feel extra special by adding a candle to the dessert cake we ordered for the celebration. Even during a busy dinner service, our server and busser remained attentive and consistently checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and an amazing value for the quality and portions. Highly recommended!

You can’t find a more beautiful spot to eat. The food is locally sourced and thoughtfully prepared. Service was excellent, super friendly. And the setting is quaint, historic and very quiet. Can’t wait to come back! Thank you for the best birthday weekend.
