    The food and drinks at Van Acre are absolutely amazing! Before we were seated we started with beer and cocktails. The Cozy Old Fashioned was delicious. As a table we shared the Smoke Plate this is a delicious smorgasbord of smoked meats, spreads, dips, and seasonal vegetables. It was out of this world, and I could probably have made a whole meal out of it. Instead I shared with my family. We all chose a different entree, and no one was disappointed. I had the seafood boil linguine. The mussels and shrimp were perfectly cooked in a tangy broth, the corn added sweetness and smoked yukons were exactly what was needed to round out the dish. Excellent! My husband ordered the salmon, one of my boys had The Farm wood fired pizza, and the other had the ribeye. That had to be the most tender ribeye I have ever seen. Melt in your mouth! The service was excellent, and the ambiance made you forget that you were pretty much in an extension of a hotel lobby. Being a smaller space, the noise level was a little higher than I would like. The food more than made up for it. We will definitely be returning!
