Our time at Buco was amazing! The view of the lake was beautiful, the staff were amazing...especially the server that sings opera...unbelievable!!! The food was delicious and atmoshpere very inviting. Would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to all!! Thank you for such a wonderful evening Il Buco!!

This is the gem of a restaurant you save for special occasions or when you simply need to transport yourself to the place that inspired the food creation. The servers are not just carriers of food; they are knowledgeable tour guides for your culinary experience. Great attention is paid to their drinks and their glassware shows that they pay attention to detail. If you like octopus drop whatever you are doing and go there immediately. The main is served with fingerling potatoes and olives. They all go together beautifully but an additional veggie might make it better. That is all that I have ordered on my visits aside from varying the apps. My husband ordered the short rib pasta but it was more of a short rib meal with pasta on the side--ultimately better value if that is what you wanted but he wanted more attention to the pasta part which to his taste needed a little hot pepper oil (request it) to give it more pizazz. This place is now my all time favourite in Barrie.

I've been to 147 many times for different celebrations, and it is always an amazing experience. The food is consistently exceptional, the staff warm and friendly and the service top-notch. A fantastic restaurant that never disappoints!
