At Mayfield, we celebrate fresh and local. We take great pride that the produce served at Mayfield is grown onsite in our garden and the remainder is handpicked from local partners. So as you wander through the Garden Centre in the morning, you may well be eating from its bounty a little later in the day. Because we grow our produce, our menu changes with the seasons. The kitchen garden team chat daily with our chefs to make plans and sow the seeds, and when those fruits and vegetables are at their seasonal best, that’s what you’ll find on our menu.     My husband and I loved this restaurant. Blaq is located in the hotel called Kyah hotel in Blue Mountains. We had a really great time for 2 nights 3 days. The restaurant has a great ambience next to the farm and woods. The fancy vibes were giving exquisite relaxation. Staff were all helpful and friendly. The food was outstanding and here are our top picks: Cheese platter, Pork Belly, Egg Yolk with local mushrooms, Grilled octopus, and Truffle oil mac and cheese. On top of this, their bar menu was quite exceptional: we loved all their craft cocktails. Here are our personal recommendations: G&Tea, Smoke on the water, Native negroni, Johnny apple seed. Overall experience was great - it’s been a lovely time over here so for those coming out of the country like us (from Singapore and Philippines), check this out when you visit the Blue Mountains.
