Well I already wrote a lengthy review but when I clicked on the ? For do you want yo send a private note to the restaurant my review was gone! Not impressed but that had to do with the app not the restaurant. Anyways when we first arrived I was a bit concerned as the outside of the building isn’t fancy at all. Not what I expected but the food was outstanding! My husband had the brisket which I also tasted and it was so delicious and tender. I had the seafood fettuccine which was very good as well. We did have mussels for an appetizer which were great and a good sized amount. We both had dessert which was blueberry grouts and a lemon cake. I did not try the groats as I was quite full but the cake was lovely with a beautiful tart lemon filling and some strawberries and syrup and some whipped cream. I didn’t care for the whipped cream as it was from a can but that was a minor complaint on my part. Our waiter was lovely and attentive. He was new but did check up on us enough throughout his busy evening. We appreciated getting to know him a little bit and how far he came (from Sydney) to work there.

We ate at Panorama on Friday, August 22nd after a beautiful day touring that side of Cape Breton. We enjoyed delicious cocktails, the burrata as an appetizer and we both had the tenderloin cooked to perfection. I am dreaming of that burrata and looking for ways to create it at home. Simply delicious. Our server was fantastic and even brought us more bed to enjoy every last drop! We have been recommending this restaurant to everyone!

Chelsea, the food & beverage manager is the most kind, caring and pleasant person my husband and I encountered on our trip. We came to cape breton for our honeymoon, and since it was early may there was not much open. We booked a reservation for dinner at Whits at cabot Golf course, as my husband loves golf and this was a bucket list thing for him. Chelsea called me the morning of our reso to inform me that there was a mistake and they will actually be closed- the reservations were not blocked off mistakingly. But she knew it was a special occasion- our honeymoon. She genuinely felt terrible. and was willing to do anything it took to still make a memorable experience for us. She offered to have the Chef make something to- go for us as there weren’t other food options nearby open. When we got there she was so very kind and gracious. She offered to give us a private tour walking onto the greens of the course - which made my husbands whole trip. They prepared a delicious meal for us to- go included with starters, mains, deserts and drinks. I can’t say enough about this establishment but specifically Chelsea. They are lucky to have someone who is so passionate about what they do. Thank you!!
