Restaurants near Hever Castle and Gardens

Lovely pub. Food was good, especially the desserts. Pheasant a little over cooked. Staff generally very pleasant though the Younger ones are just ‘going through the motions’, no real engagement with customers and could be more attentive.

Had a very warm welcome and directed to bar as table not quite ready. Did not take long before we were taken to our table which as just what we had requested. Then had a lovely meal and presented with a Birthday dessert plate which was delicious. Perfect ending to a perfect lunch. Thank you

Lovely birthday celebration, treated nicely with a bottle of bubbles. Felt very special.

My sister and I both had the Fish pie which was lovely. House red wine very good. Staff friendly (as usual) and we weren’t rushed through our meal.

Always great here. Really good value the set menu is fabulous. Food always lovely . New waitress who did really well however my only tiny criticism is never enough staff but hey ho .
