Restaurants near Holland Amtrak Station

We have been dining here for as long as the restaurant has been in business. It's amazing to think about how good Butch's has been for so long. Especially as a special occasion restaurant, where the service is top flight and the noise level is moderate so that you can easily have a conversation with your dining partner(s). Last night's food was exactly what it should be (Tartare app, Shared Beet and Buratta salad, Gnocchi with Scallops, and Hanger steak done to perfection! The flourless chocolate torte was decadent, and the Key Lime Sorbet was refreshing. Kudos to the kitchen team for the quality of the food! The only surprise we had involved a call a couple of hours before our reservation which was to confirm the 5:30 reservation, (I have never been a no show for a reservation at Butch's) The gentleman who called attempted to let us know that a table we had requested might not be available. Why they called to confirm an Open table reservation which had included details about a birthday celebration was beyond me. The message/impression I was left with was anything but hospitable. Frankly, the tables are all great, so the specific table was not an issue until he made a big deal out of it. His approach and tone was anything but inviting. Who ever made that call needs to find a way to let customers know they are valued.

Food was amazing. Had a filet, a delmonico and scallops- all fantastic. Must get the truffle risotto and the brussel sprouts with pork belly were amazing. The no flour chocolate cake for dessert topped it off. Start to finish, fantastic!!! Ken was our server and he nailed it at every turn. Definitely return to this place if I’m ever back in Michigan.

Excellent service and food as always! However the stools at the high tops are not comfortable for tall people, they’re awkward. Overall a delicious experience and our server was awesome!

Great as usual! The service was excellent and friendly. The food was perfectly prepared and served promptly. We love the Crazy Horse. It never disappoints.
