    Our last meal in Paris and a core memory for sure. Although the outdoor seating is typical for Paris, the upstairs if available feels intimate and special. The menu is expected but with a twist. Gouda shaved prosciutto thin and sprinkled with flakes of truffle, hummus that is light and creamy, chicken with a currryesque sauce and rice, lamb that is almost barbacoa but perhaps better. The star though was dessert reimagined- rich chocolate mousse with bits of gelatin that felt like tiny gummy bears and creme brûlée that is flavored with pistachio. We emerged from the restaurant to a soft rain and felt like our trip to Paris was complete.

    This is the quintessential french brasserie. The decor is delightful and reminiscent of how Paris must have been earlier. The food was excellent. I had salmon that was cooked perfectly. My husband had steak and frites which was delicious. They had a lovely wine selection. And for dessert we had the profiterole which was soooo good, just the right amount of bittersweet chocolate sauce. Our waiter was terrific, funny, warm and yet efficient. If you are looking for a sweet place that feels really french, this is it. We will definitely go here again on our next Paris trip.

    Absolutely delicious! The fish was tender and perfectly cooked, topped with a rich, creamy sauce that tasted amazing. The rice was fluffy, and the fresh salad added a nice balance.
