Restaurants near Huron Country Fairgrounds

IlSsndy Ridge is a lovely setting. They had live music which was just right (not loud, perfect background music). Food and wine were good. The dessert was delish. All around a great time was had by all!

A fantastic choice for a high-quality restaurant in the Catawba Island - Marblehead - Port Clinton area. Beautiful decor and options for main room, bar, or outside dining. Our server, Nicholas, was efficient and friendly. The food was excellent (steak and Lake Erie perch) and the portion sizes were fine (enough but not too much). The drink selection is impressively large and wines are featured. This was our second time at The Orchard and we look forward to our next visit.

We loved our first visit to Pier W. From a perfect martini to the hazelnut mousse dessert my birthday dinner was wonderful. Alexis our server was cordial, and always seemed to check back right on time. The lobster bisque is not to be missed and the chargrilled bass saltimbocca and the shrimp scampi entrees were both quite different but each were great in their own way. The only food improvement I'd look for is the roasted asparagus--such large spears were a bit tough and stringy. In my own kitchen I would have peeled them. But--not a deal breaker. We're return again for another special occasion or just when we're in need of a treat. The views are amazing, the ambience is lovely, and this restaurant is our new favorite.

Amazing staff and food was top notch! Owner of the restaurant came to our table and sat for a minute to welcome us! Food was amazing! Great taste and great portions! There was one minor issue and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience from start to finish! They made us feel like family! Like we were joining them for Sunday dinner!

From the time we were seated to the time we left we were treated kindly and well cared for. The food was outstanding! I have gluten & dairy intolerance and they were very careful about not getting my food contaminated. The ambiance was beautiful & serene too. We loved this place and can’t wait to visit again soon!
