I had a wonderful experience at Gunpowder Lisboa. I booked a late reservation and, thanks to my Uber, arrived about 4 minutes late. Even though it was close to closing time, the staff graciously welcomed me and made me feel completely at ease rather than rushed. My waitress was incredibly kind and attentive. She took the time to ask about my preferences and made excellent recommendations. I ordered the octopus, aloo chaat, and a spicy margarita, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food arrived hot, freshly prepared, and full of flavor. By the end of the meal I was far too full for dessert, but the staff kindly offered me a traditional Portuguese cherry liqueur as a digestif, which was a thoughtful touch and a lovely way to end the evening. The combination of outstanding hospitality, delicious food, and genuine kindness made this one of my favorite dining experiences in Lisbon. I would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent Indian cuisine and exceptional service.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The service was amazing, the food was excellent (we had tuna tartare, T-bone steak, and a lobster salad - everything was delicious, properly seasoned, and beautifully served), and great drinks (we had an old fashioned and a tipsy pear cocktail). We also got lucky and were treated to live music in the little library room of the hotel lobby that the restaurant is part of!
