Alder & Oak is a wood-fired Aegean and Mediterranean restaurant in Jacksonville's Brooklyn neighborhood, inside HUB Brooklyn at 400 Riverside Avenue. Every dish is cooked without seed oils — only Iliada extra virgin olive oil from Kalamata, Greece, and grass-fed beef tallow.     Alder and Oak offers a good variety of Mediterranean dishes. My husband ordered the Moussaka, and I had the Lamb Shank. Both were delicious. Our server couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.
