Restaurants near Kalaupapa National Historical Park

An outstanding location right on the beach with amazing sunset views. Every member of the staff has a sincere spirit of Aloha and a smile. Service is top notch and the food is incredible. We started with sashimi for an appetizer followed by fresh fish entrees and everything was outstanding . Make every effort to leave room for Hula Pie for dessert. It's something you'll never forget.

Our server Bruce was fantastic. We had an amazing night celebrating our anniversary with great service and food.

Our experience was wonderful. To the hostess that greeted us, which turned out to be the bar manager, to our server who kept us amused and entertained the whole time. We both had the specials of the evening and they were both very well prepared.  we were there for the sunset, and the staff was prepared to take pictures for anyone that wanted them! That doesn’t happen everywhere. Aloha !

We really enjoyed our dining experience at the Hula Grill. The Chef’s Tasting menu was wonderful! It featured their popular dishes with excellent value. Our server, Astrid, was friendly and attentive. Dinners were delicious! Fish was so fresh and well prepared. And the steak was tender and tasty. The Localicious salad was so fresh and “organic”. We highly recommend the Hula Grill.

This is a famous restaurant on the Kapali Beach in Maui, and we loved it! We had 5:30 reservations in September, so we were still at our table for a stunning sunset. The food was amazing, I had the banana leaf steamed fish with coconut rice, and my husband had the pork shank with root vegetables. All so yummy! We finished with the famous (800-1000 per DAY served here) Hula Pie. It’s a mile high ice cream pie on dark cookie crust with whipped cream, hot fudge and macadamia nuts. Omg. Great night out!
