Restaurants near Keene Springs Hotel

The food and staff were exceptional. Very positive energy from both the staff and customers. I didn’t care much for the wines by the glass selection.

We came for our annual anniversary meal. The medallions were excellent and cooked perfectly. We requested a window on the patio but the windows were open and cooler and we had the road noise but I would choose that table again for a birthday celebration. We do not eat downtown unless we go to Carson’s on Main!!

Fried green tomatoes were a bit spicy, but really good. Not overly fried or greasy. Bacon was a great complement to the tartness. Shrimp gnocchi was great, but the whole garlic cloves were a bit tricky since they looked like smaller gnocchi. The meatball appetizer was a good size for a child’s entree. She didn’t complain and ate 2 out of 3. Rolls had Parmesan cheese on them, but they brought out plain rolls upon request. A little loud after a football game and both teams’ fans were around, but not too rowdy. Great staff was very attentive.

We love coming to Giuseppe's for special occasions or just because we want to. We love the atmosphere and that we are not rushed out like most other restaurants. I had the chicken parmesan, the BEST on this side of the Atlantic. Our waiter and the rest of the staff were GREAT!!.

Special occasion get together. As always Merrick Inn did a wonderful job.
