Restaurants near Kimbell Art Museum

Loved our first dining here. Venue is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the entrees. A very nice wine list both by the glass and the bottle. Desserts are wonderful. We especially enjoyed Diego who waited on us. I will ask for him every time that we dine here. The manager, EJ, was attentive and very professional.

We were greeted by the owner/Maitre D and seated quickly. The waiter offered to take our coats, which was a lovely gesture. We had the cheese platter for an appetizer, which had a delicious array of cheese, fruit, Dijon mustard and fig preserves. The Chardonnay was different, but very good. My husband had the lamb special, which he said was fabulous and I had the beef bourguignon made with wagyu beef. When I say it melted in my mouth, I am NOT exaggerating! It was mouth watering! The chef came around and asked us how we were enjoying our meal, which was such a nice touch. The ambience was quiet and just delightful! My husband and I were able to talk to each other without a lot of loud voices around us. This will be a new favorite restaurant and we will be back soon!

Excellent experience all around. We were seated promptly, our server was pleasant and professional, and the food was excellent. Dessert was exceptional - lemon tart beautifully presented and delicious. I would like to see more wine by the glass selections, otherwise almost perfect date night.

It’s been a minute since we had been to Blue Sushi but it did NOT disappoint!! I’m not sure how many courses of rolls and appetizers we had but each one was better than the last!! It’s always busy so be sure and get a reservation! Do not park next to it you will get towed valet is right across the little street or parking around the corner! Service was beyond expectation we truly had a wonderful night!!

This was chef-wine dinner. Jett Mora, the executive chef, prepared an amazing seven course dinner to go with seven wines. Service was excellent and always a pretty view. Quiet roomy venue. It doesn't get any better. Thank you Jeff, The Modern and Eric. Eric is the winemaker at Van Duzer Vineyards, the wines.
