    Amazing experience, true fine dining experience in North Lake Tahoe. Food is unbelievable, service was top rate across the board. Highly recommend, prepare for the bill, very expensive but worth it. I will be back.

    What a lovely Mother’s Day brunch we had! Every detail was attended to flawlessly. We were celebrating my granddaughter’s 16th birthday, which fell on Mother’s Day this year. From the time we were greeted at the hostess station until the time we left, we were treated extremely well. Service was over the top, seating was comfortable and the food was excellent. And a happy birthday Sunday for our granddaughter was especially appreciated.This was our second year to come to Gar Wood’s to celebrate Mother’s Day and you can be sure we will be back next year as well! Thank you, Gar Woods.

    The service was excellent the waitress was always asking if she could help with anything. The restaurant could use more people like her. The choice of tea’s was great and deserts were out of this world . The scones were a little small, they should be bigger.

    The staff was spectacular in accommodating a wedding rehearsal party of 20+ adults and children. They seated us outside and suggested options and quantities to feed many different dietary needs. The pizza was outstanding, service quick and cheerful, and overall experience one for the books. We appreciate the staff's willingness to bring happiness the wedding parties' bellies and spirits. A BIG SHOUTOUT to the BEST PIZZA in Tahoe.
