- CCalvinPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoIf I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. We go out to eat with another couple every 3-4 months and always try to make it a point to go to a different place in or around Lancaster. This was our first time visiting C'est La Vie and I can honestly say this was easily one of our best experiences dining out in Lancaster in the past 3-4 years. The service was excellent (shout out to Brett!) and the food was equally spectacular. We started off with the chicken lollipops for an appetizer and these were amazing. I'm not sure quite how they managed to do it, but the chicken was fall-off-the bone tender and the fried coating was light, crispy, and flakey. I was impressed with the large selection of unique and seasonal cocktails. I had the Smoky Solstice and my wife chose the C’est La Vie, both of which were very excellent. I chose to add the C'est La Vie House Salad (half size) and this was very good as well. Any salad that includes cheese and pepperoni gets an automatic pass, but all the ingredients were fresh and this was a well-executed salad. I'm a sucker for a great brick oven pizza, especially one with pepperoni and hot honey. The Soppresetta Pizza entree didn't disappoint, as it had a beautiful crust that was both crusty and chewy. The sauce and toppings were well-portioned and the pizza was cooked to absolute perfection. My wife had the Boeuf Bourguignon and was very impressed. The beef was extremely tender and flavorful and the dish was well executed. For dessert, my wife had the evening special, which was a type of light peppermint gelato-like dessert (can't remember the name). I chose the Crème Brulé, which was easily the best I've had in years. We typically don't return to places often, since there are so many great restaurants in and around Lancaster to choose from, but we're going to make an exception for this place. We're looking forward to going back. If you haven't tried C'est La Vie, definitely check it out. I highly recommend it!!!More infoC'est La ViePrice: Expensive• European• Lancaster•4.8
- BBrittnievipPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had absolutely amazing experience. Josephine’s is my personal favorite in the downtown area, especially at Christmas. We invited friends for a first time. From drinks to appetizers to entrees to dessert, everything was delicious! Our server was excellent and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and the ambiance was top notch with Christmas music being played on the piano and bass throughout our meal.More infoJosephine'sPrice: Expensive• Modern European• Lancaster•4.9
- NNataliePhiladelphia County •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFrom the moment we checked in at the hostess stand, to the bar for a drink and then to our table, the experience at 401 Prime was top notch. A hidden gem in the heart of Lancaster. The staff including Nicole, the hostess and Stephen, our server were so unbelievable and attentive. The whole experience made us feel special including the lavender infused towels prior to the start of our meal. The food was incredible. From the presentation to the actual taste, I did not want to stop eating. The bread offered in the beginning with the special butter was unbelievable. Definitely recommend the wasabi Caesar salad which is something I have never had before. Definitely an upgrade to a normal Caesar. Our filets were cooked to perfection as was all the sides. I cannot wait to take my husband back there!More info401 PrimePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Lancaster•4.7
- LLannaPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoI celebrated my birthday here. The crab dip was delicious, as well at the scallop entree. Liz was my server and she was absolutely divine and made my night special. The espresso martini and classic margarita was also great. I will be back. 10 stars!More infoBelvedere Inn Restaurant and BarPrice: Expensive• American• Lancaster•4.9
