- JJefferyGoldVancouver / British Columbia •27 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoWas there for my birthday dinner with my best friend. Food was outstanding! Everything we order was very delicious. We can tastes the thoughts the chef put into the dishes. Our server was very sweet and nice. A lady with eyeglasses. I think she might be Spanish but not sure and I feel so bad I forget her name. She is amazing! The 5' tall short female Asian host on the other hand, was not completed the oppsite. She didn’t bother say hi, just looking at me while I walked in, and waited for me to start talking, did not mentioned about my birthday after she got my booking about my birthday dinner and I had a silly happy birthday hat on my head when I entered the restaurant. Fine, but she didn’t say good bye or thank you, just stool there looking at us same as when we entered the restaurant. She did not bother but just looking at us leaving the door. Anyway. I understand we all go through things in life, but she is the face of the restaurant and that is only thing she needs to do, if she can't even make a normal greeting then she is not capable to perform the job descrbtion. Sadly the bad experience always overshadows the goods and that might be the only experience I will remember for my next visit. If there will be one anytime soon.More infoMiku Restaurant - Vancouver$$$$• Japanese• Coal Harbour•4.7

- TToddDenver / Colorado •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThis place consistently delights! Even the simplest items surprise you—like the pizza, which is served with scissors to cut it yourself because the thin crust is just that good. We absolutely loved our entire experience here and have officially made it our end-of-trip tradition! The 'Sophia' picture is a beautiful piece that perfectly embodies this restaurant: elegant, understated, and stunningly striking.More infoSocial Corner Yaletown$$$$• Italian• Yaletown•4.5
- AAshleySt. Louis •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFantastic evening at Nightingale. Our table was upstairs right on the railing, overlooking the downstairs so I really got to take in the decor. Its gorgeous. The theme is done very well. Beautiful artwork. I am a dairy-free pescatarian so going out can be challenging at times. My server and her trainee were prompt in showing me my options. They even marked the options that would work for me to make it easy. The food was well-paced and delicious. We purchased a bottle of wine and the sommelier was very helpful with picking out something we would both enjoy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it if you’re in the Vancouver area.More infoNightingale$$$$• Canadian• Coal Harbour•4.8
