I’ve had the pleasure of dining at some exceptional restaurants throughout my travels, but every once in a while, you encounter a place that delivers something far beyond outstanding food and wine. Cafe Boheme in Aberdeen was one of those rare experiences, and I cannot praise it highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, intimate, and wonderfully charming. The food was beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and absolutely delicious. From the wonderful bread and accompanying spread to the exquisite main course and decadent chocolate dessert, every detail reflected genuine culinary passion. The French wine was equally exceptional, complementing an already remarkable evening. But what truly elevated this experience from excellent to absolutely unforgettable were two extraordinary individuals: Gav, the bartender, and Hanna, the manager. Gav was simply PHENOMENAL! His personality, humor, warmth, and genuine hospitality were unlike anything I’ve experienced in a very long time. We shared stories, exchanged jokes, laughed throughout the evening, and even enjoyed some wonderful wine together. What could have been a quiet dinner for a solo traveler became an evening filled with laughter, conversation, and genuine human connection. Gav has that incredibly rare ability to make a complete stranger feel like an old friend. He wasn’t simply providing service; he was creating memories. That is something no amount of money can buy. And Hanna — what an absolutely exceptional manager! Her kindness, attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine care were evident throughout my visit. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, appreciated, and completely at home. It’s clear that her leadership and passion for hospitality contribute enormously to what makes Cafe Boheme so special. As an American visiting Scotland, I’ve encountered great hospitality. -MikeMore infoCafe Boheme Aberdeen££££• French• Aberdeen•4.8

The food and drink offer meant we had two main meals and two drinks from the bar. Service was very good. The breakfast was very good indeed with lots of fresh fruit ranging from Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries to Pineapple and many more. The cooked breakfast was very good whilst there were some quality bread items for marmalade. Overall as part of the package a superb stay.More infoPub & Grill - Village Hotel Aberdeen££££• Grill• Aberdeen•4.1
