Our Daughter-and-Mother team owns and operates the restaurant Mia and Isara McCallum from South Thailand.Due to the unique nature of our restaurant, our kitchen is compact and operated by a single chef.     This restaurant was fab!! we stayed onsite and ate here both nights the staff were some of the best we have ever had , they were attentive , had great banter and were overall happy to serve. We had lovely recommendations and were catered for both nights to a very high standard. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect. The restaurant has stunning views of the loch and hills that could never get boring , catered to dogs and families whilst maintaining a good vibe for our friends trip and other couples around us !! Highly highly recommend x

    Booking was easy, despite it being a busy Saturday. There’s a slightly limited menu but as a result in a small place done well and pizzas excellent, beers and cider nice. This place is a great asset in a small town and a welcome break from hotel food which is ok but not for 7 nights.

    Seated immediately on arrival and service was extremely swift. A varied and well-balanced menu with plenty to suit all tastes, fish and meat dishes not all just carb-based. Food was delivered promptly and both courses were hot not tepid. Both courses were cooked perfectly, nothing overdone. Tried the now-in-season asparagus (in butter) and it was delicious...tender, sweet and cooked absolutely perfectly. Dessert of the day was strawberrry cheesecake which was imaginatively served in a glass with ice cream, and was totally delicious not overtly sweet. For a late afternoon on a Saturday, the place was already busy and by the time we left for our next engagement early evening, was full so tables are turned swiftly. A great find and would return in a heartbeat when in the area again.
