Located off the lobby of the hotel, in the former Bank of Louisiana, our restaurant is centered between an open kitchen and a full bar surrounded by murals painted by the artist of who the restaurant is named, Angela Gregory. Chefs Patrick Trahan, Brock Nichols, and Jonathan White design menus that utilize fresh and local produce and available organic proteins that offer twists on Southern classics in a modern farm-to-table menu. Cecelia’s was great! If you are in Baton Rouge, make a stop over. The alligator was fried perfectly, the daily special of blackened redfish was so nice in contrast to the cheese grits, and the Oreo cheesecake was the perfect end to the night.

I really enjoy a good steak and Doe's is my go to place for that. Mary is always my server and Kit works the bar and makes excellent drinks. I consider going to Doe's as a real pleasure besides enjoying a great steak. I had some dental work done and could not eat a steak or anything that required biting and this was my first steak in 3 months. Therefore, I treated myself to the 2 1/2 lb. Porterhouse T-bone and it was excellent. My wife likes the tamales and salad so everyone was pleased with their meal. If you want a great steak at a good price Doe's is the place to go.
