The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. The food was good, I was just annoyed that they don’t do steaks for lunch. Never been to a pub that does this. A bit annoyed. As we travelled 2 hours to come down to the beach and have a steak at the pub. Could’ve gone elsewhere but when you’ve got 3 little kids you don’t really want to be getting back in the car.

Our group had Barramundi tacos, gnocchi and seafood linguine and all meals were delicious, such good value. The view over the sea was beautiful and the service was great. We highly recommend this place.

We loved the atmosphere, the service and the food. The restaurant has personality. The food was fresh, well presented and tasted amazing. The dishes offered were in some instances variations on the styles we are used to at our local Indian restaurants. My wife is Coeliac and the manager took the trouble to come to our table to discuss her requirements.
