    This sweet spot was a delightful surprise. Hidden away in a “strip mall” is this warm and inviting, classy, quiet and elegant restaurant. The service was excellent, with just enough attention to feel taken care of, and not too much so we felt rushed (I hate that). I felt like the servers were invested in us having a wonderful experience. And we did! We ordered the vegetable empanadas, which we spectacular! The crust was perfectly crispy and flaky. Some of the best empanadas I’ve ever tasted. For our entree, we shared the Japanese A5 Wagyu. The server seared it table-side on some crispy, buttery brioche. We had the poblano mashed potatoes on the side…wow! I was not expecting the flavor bomb that happened in my mouth! So delicious!!! For beverages- I had the Emerald Embers, a tequila-forward, citrusy, Serrano chili sparkle beverage that made me hum; my partner had the most delightful Santorini served and poured table-side in a porthole infuser. Gorgeous! The place is spendy though, so only on special occasions for us. We had a marvelous time!
