Restaurants near Maywood Park

I have not been in several years and am happy to report that Bavel is just as good as I remember (if not even better)! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The prawns, duck hummus, and oyster mushrooms were as good as I remembered. The fresh pita bread was so fluffy and was a perfect vehicle for the hummus. We also got the kohlrabi (YUM! first time having this awesome root veggie), octopus, and chicken pate. Every dish was fantastic and flavorful. My husband and I enjoyed getting a bunch of apps and small plates to share so that we can sample more items rather than going with a big entree and only a few other dishes. We ended with the ice cream bar dessert - and it was fantastic. I was worried it would be too sweet but our server reassured me it was not. She was right! It's like an elevated snickers bar and was the perfect ending to our meal.

The four of us tried 7 things to share. Each dish had wonderful flavors! The choices included the pork chop, the half chicken, the duck breast, pea pods, mousse, broccolini, and molten lava cake with ice cream. Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Food was excellent and innovative. Service was first-rate. Atmosphere was beautiful with acceptable noise level outside.

I eat at high-end restaurants whenever I get to LA. Bestia is BY FAR the best LA restaurant at which I've eaten within the previous two years. We had three apps, 1 pizza, two pastas, and two desserts. Impeccable casual service. If I could get a reservation, I would go back tonight.

I had a wonderful experience at Stevens Steakhouse and Seafood. The food was delicious, with every dish full of flavor and prepared perfectly. From the first bite to the last, it was clear that quality is a priority. What really made the visit stand out was the exceptional service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They were welcoming without being overbearing, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. If you're looking for great food paired with outstanding customer service, I highly recommend Stevens Steakhouse and Seafood. I'll definitely be returning.
