    Easy booking. Lovely reception. Given a free choice if where to sit. Good choices of food & drinks. Once ordered it was served very quickly. Staff very attentive all the while. Was a presented a birthday cake (& candle) & the staff gave a happy birthday cheer. Lovely visit to my favourite restaurant.

    Outstanding, so much care and attention went into our overall experience.. Our waitress was superb, very knowledgeable of the menu, went above and beyond to help us decide on a suitable dish when we're having deliberating issues..The food was superb as always.. Mac and Cheese with a twist was a definite winner as was the squid and fish and chips ohh not forgetting the soda bread that came with the mac and cheese dripping in this delicious buttery garlicky spread...10 out of 10 made our rainy Saturday.

    This was our first visit to this unique railway-carriage-based fish restaurant on the Harbour Arm at Folkestone. We were very impressed. We arrived early for our booking and the staff were obviously run off their feet as it was a sunny Saturday. Nonetheless, they were charming and welcoming and offered drinks outside while we waited. Their Kentish wines by the glass are excellent and we had another couple of bottles with our meal. The waitress even kindly warned my husband that the beer he had selected was not chilled, so he ordered another. We were five people and were seated at a roomy and comfortable table at the end of the room with lots of light and a sea view. It was my husband's birthday and we treated ourselves to two fabulous fish platters As is usual these are not cheap but were some of the nicest and most generous we've ever had. We had friendly service and a great meal. We'll be back!
