A Family Tradition for Over 90 YearsMrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tearoom. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes. Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, cup of soup, side salad/and or cherry rhubarb, four pieces of fried chicken with mashed potatoes smothered and a choice between corn or cabbage. For dessert: choose between Boysenberry or Apple pie. We offer other dishes such as Roasted Chicken, Specialty Salads, Salmon, and a number of appetizers. A full-service bar, serving signature boysenberry-infused cocktails, is also available.

    Strong Water is definitely an immersive pirate adventure to be had. From the time you walked through the door, the servers were accommodating and made sure you were taken care of. Crafted drinks were delicious and complimented their menu. It is a tight-spaced, small venue and reservations are recommended. We were a party of four and sat in the Captain’s Quarter, which is an exclusive area in the back of the speakeasy.
