    We’ve now visited JJacques three times, and it has never disappointed. The quality of both the food and the drinks is consistently outstanding, and it’s always one of our favorite places to visit whenever we’re in Québec City. The staff are warm, welcoming, and provide top-notch service from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave. They truly make every visit feel special and go above and beyond to create a memorable dining experience. Thank you once again for another wonderful evening. We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Québec!

    I went with my two children, ages 10 and 15, for lunch and it was a great experience. Excellent service and food inside a very nice restaurant with wonderful views. We had the French onion soup, duck breast, and a kids cheeseburger. All were delicious.

    A wonderful meal! We sat at the kitchen counter and I'm so glad we did. It was a little less crowded and interesting to watch. The service was terrific. When she offered, we let our server choose our courses for us, which I recommend -- I don't think I would have chosen some of the dishes we tried and her selection was excellent and well-paced. My favorite of the night was the agedashi tofu, which was surprisingly delicious, but everything we had was very good -- pickles, marinated quail eggs, bluefin toro in a green sauce, agedashi tofu with bonito, mushroom yakitori, and vegetable dumplings. There were two of us and we both left full and satisfied but not overly stuffed. Mercí, Hono Izakaya!
