What gracious hosts we met at Sushi Takaya! We ran late due to public transit miscalculations (tourists!) and they were able to still accommodate us. The meal was remarkable from start to finish. You will not regret visiting with these gifted sushi chefs.

Only 14 seats, but if you're fortunate enough to get a reservation, I can't recommend it enough. I actually think the 530 seating is the way to go, so it's not too dark when you get out. The meal lasts around 2 1/2 hours. Service is amazing, food quality is outstanding and the staff does a great job of explaining the ingredients and their significance. You're doing yourself a disservice if you're in Tokyo and don't have a meal here.

The staff was so polite and friendly. This was the best service I’ve ever had, and I cant express that enough. They have English speaking staff as well and I didn’t expect to have them accommodate to that, but it was very nice to see. Thank you so much for having us
