Standing high above the city on the 10th floor of the City Club Apartments, at 309 Vine Street; resurrected from the history that has stood here before our time, Shires' Rooftop is inspired by the first amusement resort in this part of the country, Shires' Garden. Though the original Shires' Gardens burned to the ground, "in a most picturesque fire," the legacy that was left behind is everlasting and an integral part of the Queen City's history. The creation of the Matinee Performance, the regal guests Shires' hosted, an unsolved murder and other noteworthy events that took place at the original Shires' Gardens, are an inspiration to our program that we look forward to sharing with you.

For Jeff Ruby, this is the steakhouse that started it all. In 1981, The Precinct was born in the former Cincinnati Police Patrol House Number 6. This turn-of-the-century, Romanesque-style structure would hold what is now the longest, continuously running fine dining restaurant in the city.Recently named one of America's Top 10 Steakhouses by USA Today and Gayot.com, The Precinct is frequently recognized as having Cincinnati’s best steaks, seafood, and service. This consistent, high level of quality and overall guest experience over 4 decades has endeared Precinct to celebrities, business people, families, and loyal diners alike. The Precinct also offers a quaint outdoor patio area where guests may dine.

My expectations were exceeded. I had only been to Jeff Ruby’s one other time at another location and it was not a good experience, so I was pleasantly surprised by how good the experience was. The food was really good. This was the first time in over a year we have visited a steakhouse and they got the order right. The steak was cooked to perfection! The sushi was good and the drinks were excellent. Most importantly the serving was excellent. The location I visited before has terrible service, so I was expecting the same. This was not the case. Very friendly and professional staff! Looking forward to dining here again in the very near future.

Our experience at Sotto was fantastic. We had heard really good things about this restaurant and it lived up to every single one of them. The staff and service was incredible, very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was outstanding and bursting with flavor. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was perfect for a date night and we had a really great time. We’ll definitely be visiting Sotto again.

Had dinner before a Broadway show at the Aronoff with my daughter. We had the Mexico City Ceviche, the Baja Style Tacos and the Pork Al Pastor tacos. Everything was delicious and our server was extremely attentive keeping our drinks filled. She made sure that we got to the show on time even after we were running behind due to a traffic jam.

I went out with my girls before a show at the theater, and it was perfect! We each got a different pasta and got to try each others and every single one was delicious! Mark gave us exceptional service and so did the host! My friend left her bag and the amazing host Dylan gave us outstanding service by delivering it to us down the street! What an exceptional eye! Definitely a gem of a place with gems of people and we will all be coming back soon!
