Awesome date-night find in Bethesda. Lovely area, easy parking, pro and welcoming team, beautifully appointed restaurant. Standout tableware, and I appreciate the investment in creative handmade plates which elevate the experience. Shared mushroom cavatelli, beets and burrata, and fresh dinner rolls. Great spot for a post-dining stroll and window shop.

My family and I really enjoyed a Birthday Brunch for my mom at Summer House Santa Monica! The waffles, Pancakes, thick cut bacon and avocado toast were very good! It was our very attentive ( She said she was a new employee, but we thought that she was wonderful!) server and helpful host that made for a nice experience. Nobody wants to disappoint their opinionated mom on her birthday, and I was so relieved that Mom was happy!😅 The restaurant's West Coast vibe,ambiance, menu and open kitchen made for a great experience for us. OMG. Salt & Vine was one of the best dining experiences that we have had for many years. We are definitely going there again soon. We ate an early dinner and started with the Arancini (three fried risotto croquettes, smoked mozzarella, spicy tomato sauce); it was perfectly cooked. The crispy outside complemented the soft mozzarella inside to make it the perfect appetizer. We followed it up with a Market Salad (lollo rossa lettuce, shaved asparagus, heirloom carrots, thinly sliced radishes, focaccia croutons and aged sherry vinaigrette). The salad was unique and delicious. We were so impressed that we asked the chef to join us at the table to discuss how he prepared it (which he did!). For our Primi we shared a Linguini Granchio (local corn, blistered cherry tomatoes, super lump crab, white wine, butter, focaccia crisp). All of the food was shared between the two of us (we don't eat that much nowadays) and the servers brought second plates and bowls to facilitate our dining. The house wine (at happy hour prices!) was exceptional and there was no need to hunt for a different wine in their wine listing. Salt & Vine crafts each dish from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients and also hand-makes its pasta. The menu changes periodically to adjust for the ingredient availability. We are certainly returning to check out their new menus. Salt & Vine is now on the top of our list of favorite restaurants.
