Quality of food was first class and good degree of originality or twists to traditional dishes. Waitresses were friendly and smiley and courteous. Prices were slightly high - Sunday lunch could benefit from a set menu option. Highly recommended.

Good tasty roast beef but served warm not hot on a cold plate. Ambience of the Crown is bare boards.

The menu served is nothing like the menu that is on the website. Much smaller. Food we tasty but over priced for what you can get in a restaurant across the road. Many other options in the area. Breakfast was very good if you are staying there.

It was nice to enjoy an evening meal on a quiet weekday. The menu and specials offered a variety of interesting choices and there was a good selection of wines to choose from. Service was prompt and friendly. The quality and presentation of the food were very good.
