The Blue Fish Restaurant and Oyster Bar is located historic Avondale, one of Jacksonville's most prestigious neighborhoods. Just minutes from downtown Jacksonville, we offer the freshest selections of seafood in creative recipes, including a large variety of specialty oysters, great steaks, fresh catch, and nightly specials. Light plate options available for the smaller appetite. Jacksonville's best Happy Hour 3-6:30pm daily. Al fresco dining available on our patios.. Our wine list is quite affordable with over 60 wines by the glass. We have two full bars with a late-night upstairs club. We are upscale casual and perfect for business or casual dinners, with friends, family or date night. Full banquet facilities available including private dining rooms that seat up to 70.

13 Gypsies is a cozy, intimate Spanish tapas restaurant. You can also find the influence of other cuisines throughout the menu. Primarily utilizing Spanish techniques to prepare both creative and classic renditions of Spanish dishes, Chef Howard and Chef Kevan operate a true craft kitchen. The two of them prepare and cook most everything from scratch including breads, cured meats, cheeses, sausages, spice blends, pickled vegetables, and desserts. This practice of making nearly everything in house promotes waste-free cooking and higher quality food. Our wines are mainly from Spain, and our beer is Florida local. We are located in a two-story Spanish-style building built in 1923 by Henrietta Dozier, Jacksonville's only female architect in the early part of the 20th century. You will find eclectic, maximalist religious iconography adorning the walls and original floor tile. We have few tables, so reservations are highly recommended. Last seating is an hour and a half before closing time.

    My husband and I had dinner at Blue Fish before attending a Jacksonville Symphony performance. We were given a table indoors along the sliding doors as requested. (For some reason, the sliders were not open that evening, even with the nice weather). Michael gave outstanding service - couldn't have been better. We split a bowl of the crab bisque and each ordered the seafood cobb salads. All was delicious and the salads were large enough that we took some home for lunch the next day. We each had a glass of the house Chardonnay (which was on happy hour pricing) with our meal. Atmosphere was energetic inside and out.

    Good food, friendly staff, not crowded or loud. Overall a decent place. Really glad they were open on Christmas Day. It was nice not to have to cook this year.

    The food was made fresh to order, the chef Darius came out to be sure all was good. The drinks were good and on point the atmosphere was amazing it definitely gave brunch vibes. Definitely will return and take friends there when they come to visit
